What inspired the brand name?
L Ȯ R took me about one year to come up with. I wanted a name that didn’t restrict my creativity to a certain theme or style to always revolve around the brand. Something that represented knowledge and an understanding of different traditions or experiences. So, I went with “Lore”, but spelled it without the E. If you look up the pronunciation spelling of Lore in the dictionary, you’ll find “LȮR”.
At what moment did you realize you wanted to start a brand?
I wanted to start a brand since high school, but Before I started this brand, I was a musician, a drummer for multiple bands, and I had been doing it for most of my life. Alongside my endeavor with music, I was involved in the apparel industry. I worked as a screen printer, DTG printer, and designed graphics for shirts and learned a lot about the industry and running a business.
I was running the brand while I was working with bands, and one night as I was loading all my drums into a van and said to myself – I can’t do this anymore. It’s either music or clothes.
Long story short, even though becoming a professional drummer was all I wanted to be since I was a little kid, being a musician became creatively unfulfilling for me
What helps you get over creative blocks?
Hopping in my car and driving with no destination.
What is the biggest mistake you have made?
Using an unreliable manufacturer. That’ll set you back time and money.
What is the biggest success you have had?
Selling out my first collection.
A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION PEOPLE MAY FIND WEIRD?
Probably, certain words or a sentence. There have been times where I design something off of certain dialogue and it sparks an idea
Favorite color to use?
I love to work with dark, muted colors but I try to not limit myself when it comes working with colors
ARE THERE ANY RETAIL SHOPS YOU WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU BRAND IN?
Sure, I don’t have any specific stores, but something international would be cool.

ALYX, John Elliot, Reese Cooper – high quality, unique garments.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF AND THE BRAND IN 1 YEAR AND 5 YEARS?
In 1 year probably the same thing. In 5 years hopefully ill work in my own warehouse and have clothes available in certain stores.
