When A BATHING APE® links with KidSuper, it’s not just a collab—it’s a moment. Dubbed A SUPER APE, this drop sees Colm Dillane dive into the BAPE archives, reinterpreting its most iconic motifs with his signature blend of art, whimsy, and bold design.

Unfolding under the BAPE COLLECTIVE umbrella—BAPE’s highest-tier collab platform—KidSuper had full access to the vaults. The result is a mash-up of playful chaos and precise nostalgia. Think reimagined BAPE STA sneakers and clogs, oversized outerwear, expressive tops and bottoms, and accessories that blur the line between wearable and wall-worthy.

The collection made its first appearance on the Paris Fashion Week runway, a debut both for A SUPER APE and BAPE® itself. Titled “From a Place I Have Never Been,” the show was a sensory experience, blending fashion and performance art with an assist from artist Daniel Wurtzel’s kinetic installations.

KidSuper’s lens brings a surrealist edge to BAPE’s legacy. You still catch the classic camo, the STA logos, the familiar silhouettes—but they’re refracted through Dillane’s dreamlike aesthetic. It’s equal parts nostalgic and futuristic, street-level and avant-garde. A meeting of two worlds that don’t just coexist—they elevate each other.
