Favorite Item I have made?
I think my favorite item I have made was definitely our french terry tee from our previous collection. It was my first venture into cut and sew and I learned a lot from it. It showed me what I need to look out for next time and developed some amazing connections for our next cut and sew pieces.
Favorite cereal?
Definitely has to be French Toast Crunch
Brand that you love?
It is a tie between Off White and SLP. I respect both brands for what they do and I especially loved SLP when Hedi Slimane was the head designer and creative director because he brought a very punk rock aesthetic to the brand.
If you could get a famous people to your brand who?
The one famous person I would want is Travis Scott. I love his sense of style and music as well.
Favorite place to eat?
The Griddle Cafe in Hollywood. The Eggs Benedict are a must.
Who do you listen to when you are creating?
A lot of Brand New because they have a very dark sound and I try to bring that out in my designs.
Someone or thing that influenced your designs?
My past has influenced my designs. I deal with depression and anxiety since I was 16 years old so I usually take that out in my designs to help clear my mind
Did you go to school for fashion ? And do you think a person needs to?
I actually went to business school and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Finance. I do not think you need fashion school. If you are passionate and are willing to learn how to design and how the process of making clothes work than you are set to succeed in this industry. It does help to go to fashion school but not necessary at all.
